Ghost Master (Pc)
Ghost Master is a new kind of sim. You are master of some ghosts that haunt the people living in a particular building or area. By using various skills of the ghosts, you have to release all the ghosts that are trapped inside the haunted house so they are saved. Some of the ghosts you save end up in your arsenal of ghosts out of which you can choose to use on other locations. You can use a selection of three ghosts to "save" a haunted house.
You can switch views from the in-eye-view from a ghost or the people living in the house to a general view that lets you overview the complete situation at hand.
You can use all kind of tricks. You can let the people imagine things, let them think they're on fire, there are thousands of spiders crawling over the floor, you can rise or decrease the temperature (as you might know, a decreased temperature points to the presence of ghosts according to specialists), you can make a leak in the cellar so people try to fix it, but by trying to do so, release a ghost that is behind that particular wall. There are various ways to obtain your goal. But be carefull, if you scare them too hard, they might think they're going crazy, or be so petrified, they even run out of the house to never return again, and how would you try to save the trapped ghosts without any people that can save them.
However... Do not think this is an easy game. Not all people are truly convinced of the existence of ghosts so they won't "play along" as well as you might suspect.
This game is supported by an impressive 3D-engine developed by Empire themselves. Some locations are inspired by horror-movies, such as a variation on the known movies Sleepy Hollow and Blair Witch Project.
This game is finally a refreshing and innovating addition to the genre of sim-games. Nice to see some originality getting back into the gaming-industry. Are you sick and tired of all those Sim's? Nobody blames you, but this one is one of it's kind. You really aught to play it, and you'll be hooked up for hours of Casper-fun.
