In this preview I could try out, two levels: one takes place in a cloister, filled with armed monks with a German accent; the other one takes place in a factory, where a lot of soldiers turn up and they have a Russian accent.


In those two levels there was already a great variety of weapons: pistols, machine guns, ninja stars and also flamethrowers. Next to these ordinary things, Ryan also has some psychic powers at his disposal. For those attacks he uses mana, which he can absorb from fallen enemies, that way he can also replenish his health.

Melee attacks aren’t absent, nor do a few gadgets, among others goggles to find sources of mana. As for the difficulty level, the advanced gamer will certainly like it. The combination of many and strong opponents provides a nice challenge. Foes ask for reinforcements and don’t mind creeping up on you or hiding in a dark corner until you pass by.

The graphics look good too. Objects in the vicinity are destroyable or can be used to eliminate an enemy and the physics are also as they should be. Creating atmosphere is important too, and in this game the sound contributes greatly.
