As I mentioned before, Trackmania United is a bundle that unites all games previously released by Nadeo. This means that once again, you can race through various landscapes on crazy tracks. That sounds nice and all, but I know you're thinking: "I already own those games, should I buy United?".

Well, the fact is that it doesn't only give you all the old stuff, but it brings you some new features as well. The blocks you use to build tracks haven't changed, but some were added, although mostly in the Stadium environment. Luckily though, those aren't the new features I was talking about. The newest stuff relates more to the gamers than to the gaming.

The real strength of this game is the community, and Nadeo knows this very well. That's why they did everything they could to bring the Trackkies closer together. And the result is Manialink. These in-game websites provide the opportunity to purchase new car models or tracks built by other racers. You can do this using the hard-earned coppers you get when you fulfill certain objectives like obtaining medals or getting best lap times. You'll be able to sell your work as well.

Besides the Manialink, there's also the online rankings. This competition gives you a change to become a real star, in the TM universe that is. You'll start at regional level, but if you're good enough, you could end up in the National or World League.

The graphics and sound are quite alright. The old themes have been revised to make them look brilliant once again. We'd expect nothing less of Nadeo.

The conclusion is easy. If you've played these games before, you'll still get enough news stuff to play around with. And if you haven't, then this is the ideal moment to enjoy a really FUN racer, Because in the end, that's all what Trackmania United is all about.
