After "Buzz! Junior: Jungle Party" and "Buzz! Junior: RoboJam" SCEE now presents "Buzz! Junior: Monsters Rumble". You play as one of the four little monsters who were created by an evil scientist. You all want to be in charge, but only one can be the best!
This battle of the best will be fought between you and your friends. The title menu has some options to choose from. You can start a standard game, or you can create your own one. The only difference between both is that when you create your own, you can choose your minigames, while otherwise they'll be chosen randomly.
Before the game begins, you'll have to select how long it will take. A short one consists out of 5 minigames, a medium out of 10, a long out of 15, and a marathon out of 25. A short game can take about half an hour of your time, so choose wisely.
After selecting the number of players, you're ready to go. You can play against your family and friends, but if they don't have enough time, you take on the computer.
Each minigame starts with an explanation about the game itself. This explanation isn't always as clear as it should be, which can lead to confusion. There also seems to be a problem with the sound. In some games like for example pumpkin smashing, the sound fades away when the narrator is explaining the concept of the game.
This Buzz has 25 minigames which all are unique and don't feel repetitive. Your senses will come in handy when you play thesm because it's all about response time. The loading time between each minigame is annoying after a while because it takes too long. Furthermore it's impossible to pause or stop in the middle of a game without having to reset your console.
Buzz! Junior: Monsters Rumble is a pleasant game that is focusing itself on little girls and boys. It's a nice game to play with your friends and family.
