What do we need to expect with accessories as listed in the title? Well, for kitchen and bathroom this package brings you new mirrors, bath tubs, toilets, laps, furniture, devices and all sorts of decorative stuff. Seems a lot but it isn't.
Next to taking care of your Sims there's another part in the Sims series that appeals (even more) to people: the designing, building and decorating a house. Future architects can really let go. For them this expansion seems very suitable: even more stuff to approach your dream house! Of course people who pay more attention to playing with your Sims are left out cold. The new thingies don't help increase the bars more than the old ones did. Even for wannabe-architecs things aren't all great and shiny. In fact the amount of items is quite thing and you're hooked to the entire offering: you may find a couple interesting things, but you've got to take all the rest along. Sometimes it aren't even totally different designs but just color variations of the same thing. It's not really difficult that way to get to the magical number 60 that's listed on the box.
The expansion isn't only limited to kitchen and bathroom stuff; also a bunch of night clothing is present. Other things that wouldn't have hurt in the kitchen are for example new tables and chairs, unless you've got enough Simdollars to put a fancy dining room in your house. But even then a problem remains: decorating your entire home in a similar style as your bathroom or kitchen isn't possible, unless you've got even more additional expansion packs laying around.
Looking from the (very) sunny side it's possible to be original in your decoration, but that's more a necessity than from creative ideas.
Releasing one expansion after another can't hurt as such. On the contrary, more (of your favorite game) is always welcome! Leaving room for expansion in the original and then coming up every so often with extras of which more than half are total crap, however, isn't so customer-oriented.
Simply said: the Sims games (also the real expansions) are fun, the accessory packs aren't.
