Shu is running away from a big bad storm
Secret Lunch, an Indie development studio located in Scotland, has sent out word they’re working on Shu, an upcoming 2.5D platformer for PC.
They’ve released a couple of screenshots as well as a teaser trailer and you can check it all out below, after the official description:
Shu is a 2.5D platformer in which you run, jump and glide your way up an ancient mountain, forever pursued by a monstrous and unrelenting storm. The climb is treacherous and you will have to contend with a variety of natural hazards brought on by the apocalyptic weather using the few abilities at your disposal. Whether diving from cliffs, jumping from walls, sliding down slopes, or using wind to achieve flight, you must stay in motion in order to escape the storm at your backs.
Shu features vibrant, hand drawn 2D characters in a colourful 3D world of towering stone, rushing rivers and long forgotten monoliths. On your journey to the peak you will encounter a unique cast of villagers who, in their flight from the storm, have become stuck, trapped or separated from one another. Will you leave them to their fate? Or will you stop to save them, making the journey more challenging, and giving the ever moving maelstrom a chance to close the gap? Run or rescue; it’s up to you.
