Are you a lover of challenging platform games, just buy “Maximo vs. Army Of Sin”. I find it difficult to say negative things as the gameplay is exceptional, the graphics and the way they are brought are enchanting which is the same for the sound and the story is as it should be in a platformer.

Bombastic is definitely a buyer because it is fun, alone or with friends. The graphics, the sound and the gameplay are good. The “Quest mode” makes it last even longer and the other modes are very addictive. If I have to say something negative, well there are no online possibilities and the “Quest mode” is too short.

I would like to say that the cellshading in the game makes it innovative and quite fun to play. The tracks are a bit boring so that can be improved. But what makes this game different from other racing games (and worth playing) are the enormous amount of tuning possibilities. Now I’m not into tuning in real-life, but in-game itself it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the game, I’m sure you will too !

Overall, Capcom’s try to combine 2 great universes has two sides. First of all it’s great to see some creative fighting again on a console and being able to use the special powers the superheroes of Marvel have is an added bonus. The second side, however, is that Capcom should have put more effort in this title rather than making a bad crossover from the original Dreamcast version.
