Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles – Season 1

For years now Sarah Connor and her son John have been on the run and trying to stay under the radar to avoid the government and Skynet’s terminator’s that keep coming back from the future. When the latest attempt to kill John, by a terminator with the name Cromartie, fails thanks to a young female terminator Cameron, the two realise that running isn’t an option. Instead they decide that it’s time to fight back and stop Armageddon from ever happening…

Sound and Vision:
Warner delivers The Sarah Connor Chronicles with excellent image quality. We haven’t seen any compression errors and the level of detail is splendid.

The sound does an equally good job. It’s not as impressive as a movie soundtrack but all speakers are used quite well and the viewer is put right in the middle of the action.

Extras:
– 3 audio commentary tracks
– Creating the Chronicles
– Extra long version of episode “The Demon Hand”
– Actor’s auditions
– Terminated scenes
– Animated Storyboards
– Dance rehearsal of Summer Glau
– Bloopers

To be honest not a lot of interesting stuff present but the Creating the Chronicles feature is worth checking out once.

Conclusion:
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is a series that’s set after the events of Terminator 2 and manages to pick up from the movies quite well. I didn’t spot any inconsistencies and the storylines are interesting enough to keep you clustered to your chair while also the acting is up to standard. Without a doubt, this series is one of the best to be released as of late and shouldn’t be left out of any collection. A must-have!

Our Score:
7.0
