Triangle
Jess and a couple of friends go sailing on the ocean when suddenly a stormfront arrives and their boat gets tossed around. As sudden as it arrived, the storm disappears and while waiting for rescue, a big cruiseship passes by. They get on board but quickly find that it seems the ship is deserted. There are no passengers or crew anywhere to be seen but when they split up to find someone who can help them, Jess starts to feel something is terribly wrong…
Sound and Vision:
Triangle has decent but not spectacular image and sound quality. Just the thing you would expect from a recent DVD release.
Extras:
The DVD of “Fear Itself”
Conclusion:
Triangle is directed by Christopher Smith, the guy who previously brought us Creep (great) and Severance (not so great). With Triangle the quality is somewhere in between those two titles. We get a horror/thriller with seemingly no end and no beginning which is an interesting concept as viewers can make up their own mind. Unfortunately, for the rest Triangle trades in all too known space and doesn’t manage to surprise in any way.
Image and sound are quite good, the DVD comes in a nice-looking metal cover, and as extra you get the movie “Fear Itself” for free. A nice package!
