Two Twisted – The Complete Series
Two Twisted is an Australian tv series that tries to bring stories in the trend of Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone. Each 22 minute episode has a specific story with a “twist” and has an intro by Bryan Brown, who also produced the series. Ghosts, time travel, death, clones, … it’s all present.
Sound and Vision:
The series started in 2005 but the quality makes it look a lot older. There’s a lot of grain present as well as some minor compression errors. The amount of detail lacks due to this and overall we can’t do anything but say that the quality is worse than some series that are a lot older.
The sound comes in 2.0 which means the dialogues are clear and understandable but don’t expect anything more.
Two Twisted tries to go on the same paths of The Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone but never succeeds in even coming close to these. The plots are extremely predictable and the tension is nowhere to be found. The acting is mediocre and the characters hardly deeper than cardboard. But what do you expect from 22-minute episodes? Two Twisted in my opinion isn’t worth checking out unless you have nostalgic feelings towards stories that have a similar naive feeling of movies that have been made in the 1960s.
