Ubisoft goes more into Free2Play
Ubisoft today announced at Gamescom they’re going full force ahead with their online strategy as next to Ghost Recon Online, they’re bringing more of their classic franchises to the Free2play domain.
Two new titles were announced: Anno Online, and Might & Magic Heroes Online. Both will be browser-based and are being developed by BlueByte, the guys behind The Settlers. Anno Online is scheduled for release this Autumn, while Might & Magic Heroes Online will see the light of day in 2013. With Silent Hunter Online added, Ubisoft will have already four of its major franchises in the free2play market.
