UK Charts: Black Ops 2 comes in with a flashbang

Yes, Halo 4 may have received a higher rating on Metacritic, but that doesn’t mean Master Chief can beat Activision’s annual first person shooter series Call of Duty when it comes to sales.

Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was released last week and as a result has immediately taken over the lead in the UK Sales Charts from 343 Industries’ Halo 4 which drops to two while FIFA 13 manages to remain in third place.

Assassin’s Creed 3 did slightly worse as it went from 2 to 4 while Skylanders Giants went up from 6 to 5 and surpassed Need for Speed: Most Wanted which ends up at 6 this week.

Just Dance 4 swings from 9 to 7 while Borderlands 2 remains steady at 8 and The Sims 3: Seasons decided that Autumn is the perfect season for a 10th place.
