UK Charts get overthrown
A big week for the Sales Charts in the UK as plenty of new games arrived, resulting in a major overhaul of the Top20.
FIFA 13 which has been at the top spot for a few weeks, remains holding second place as although soccer can be fun, killing people in a stealthy way during the American Revolution is more fun. Indeed, Assassin’s Creed 3 has arrived and took over the lead in the UK Sales Charts.
In third place THQ sees their latest wrestling game, WWE 13, make a good entry, while Sega’s latest soccer management sim, Football Manager 13 enters new at 4.
Criterion’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted also was released last week and the game even managed to outrace Medal of Honor: Warfighter which was last weeks number 1 but now has to do with sixth place.
Meanwhile, that other racer, Forza Horizon, drops from 3 to 7 and Skylanders Giants makes a similar fall from 4 to 8. Just Dance 4 does a little better and limits the damage by 3 positions and goes from 6 to 9, which is better than Dishonored which falls from 5 to 10.
