UK Charts: London 2012 keeps the Gold Medal

For the second week in a row, London 2012: The Official Videogame has kept the number one spot in the UK Sales Charts, making us wonder whether it will be able to keep that position once the Olympics are over. Anyway, Sega is doing good business with the Olympics as Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games also managed to stay in third place. Not so Olympics-minded is Batman with Warner’s Dark Knight waiting his moment to take over the lead once again with LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes which keeps breathing in the neck of London 2012 at number 2. Or will that other Batman game rise to the top once again? Batman: Arkham Asylum jumped up a spot once again and ended up at 4, coming from 5.

While Sega and Warner are battling it out at the top, Bethesda is sneaking up again with Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which went up from 8 to 5, while also Ubisoft sees the X360 Classics version of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations doing well and going from 11 to 6.

Activision’s Amazing Spider-Man keeps hanging steady in his web at 7, while Battlefield 3 is finally marching up again and ends up at 8, coming from 16.

With so many climbers, there also have to be fallers, and this week that questionable honor goes to Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (4 to 9) and Modern Warfare 3 (6 to 10).
