UK Charts: The Games are On!

The Olympic Games in London have started, and the result is that the UK Sales Charts suddenly are dominated by Sega’s Olympic videogames.

Warner’s LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes drops to second place, making room for LONDON 2012: The Official Video Game at the top spot, while Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games also makes a big leap forward again, going to 3, coming from 8. Yes, the Brits are all-Olympic at the moment!

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier drops from 3 to 4 while Batman: Arkham Asylum does make up for Warner’s drop for LEGO Batman 2 as it jumps from 7 to 5.

Then we get two times Activision with Modern Warfare 3 at 6, and Amazing Spider-Man at 7. Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim also manages to jump up a few spots again as it ends up at 8, coming from 10.

The Top10 gets closed off with FIFA 12 at 9 (from 12) and Square Enix’ Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
