UK Charts: Total Shake-up as Autumn releases arrive

The UK Sales Charts have been changing rather mildly over the last couple of months but last week saw the release of the first slate of new games ready for the Fall season and as a result the charts have been compeltely overthrown.

Biggest winner is Gearbox’ Borderlands 2 which enters at the top spot, but they’re not the only ones doing good business. Codemasters released F1 2012 which arrives in second place, and Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 also comes in new, and that at third position. As a result, SquareEnix’ Sleeping Dogs drops from 1 to 4.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes falls from 3 to 5 and is closely followed by yet another newcomer: LittleBigPlanet for the PS Vita which manages to outsell Nintendo’s New Super Mario Bros 2 for the 3DS which drops from 4 to 7.

At 8 we find back the former number 2: Tekken Tag Tournament 2, while Guild Wars 2 goes down from 7 to 9. The Top10 gets closed off by Max Payne 3 which holds steady at 10.
