UK Sales Charts: Sleeping Dogs remain vigilant

Week after week, Activision must be hitting themselves on the head for dishing True Crime: Hong Kong. For those that don’t remember: True Crime: Hong Kong was dropped by Activision, and then picked up by Square Enix to be released later on as Sleeping Dogs. That’s right, United Front Games’ third person action title that’s been ruling the UK Sales Charts for quite some weeks already now.

And again this week no game managed to outsell it. Not even the babes from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 which entered the sales charts new and stranded in second place! Yes, fighting babes are still no match for the action game from United Front!

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes manages to jump up from 5 to 3 at the expense of both New Super Mario Bros 2 and London 2012: The Official Videogame, and also The Sims 3 isn’t doing all too well. They may be supernatural for the moment, but there’s nothing supernatural about a drop from 2 to 6! And another one that dives further down: Guild Wars 2 from NCSoft and Arenanet.

Luckily it’s not all bad news and games falling down in the charts: Dead Island GOTY Edition manages to hold steady at 8 while NHL 13 enters the charts at 9 and Max Payne 3 makes an unexpected recovery by re-entering the Top20 at 10!
