Uncharted movie loses another director
Good and bad news for those longing to check out the upcoming Uncharted movie: Variety is reporting that after David O. Russell, now Neil Burger has been ditched from the project as director.
The “good” news is that Scribes Marianne and Cormac Wibberley have been hired to complete rewrite the script. Both previously worked on Disney’s National Treasure and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.
The idea now is to have a complete rewrite, and once that’s done Sony Pictures will be looking to hire a new director.
So what do you think? Uncharted becoming National Treasure doesn’t sound all too great to me.
